Mollies are rarely aggressive towards other fish and make good fish for a community aquarium. Some examples of common fish that can easily be kept with Mollies are Guppies, Platies, Tetras, Swordtails.
The water temperature should be between 70 to 82 degrees Fahrenheit. The pH should be between 7 and 8. Using driftwood in the aquarium is therefore not recommended as driftwood is known to lower the pH value.
Mollies are live bearing tropical fish that can be fairly easy to breed.
Molly fish are originally brackish water fish (freshwater mixed with saltwater). Most Molly fish bought from pet stores will be used to domestic freshwater without salt.
